Sports programs in middle school give students the chance to develop skills that will help them succeed in life. We learn perseverance and how to work as part of a team when we participate in organized sports.
As we return to intramural sports, after the pandemic, we are excited to compete in games against the other Whittier Area middle schools in Football, Volleyball, Basketball, and Soccer. A GRRREAT big thanks goes out to Kellogg's, Albertsons, Vons, Pavilions, and the Mission Tiger program that joined us at LNMS to donate $5,000 to our sports programs. We were lucky enough to get a visit from Tony the Tiger for the check presentation. Not only did the school get the $5,000 grant, but all the students and staff were given a gift bag during the event.
