End of 2nd Trimester Dance for Good Citizenship

During a first of a kind lunch dance event, Mrs. Cardenas (Principal) extended a warm welcome to approximately 250 students who were eligible to participate in a techno dance session in the auditorium. Student DJ Richard Hernandez provided the music that got students' toes tapping.

Mrs. Cardenas believes that academic achievement is critical and it should be accompanied with motivation, focus, kindness, respect and caring, as evidenced by students' citizenship marks. Therefore she planned a dance to reward students for being good citizens by making good choices at school. She recalls thanking a student for attending the dance at the close of the session and was surprised to hear, "Thank you for inviting me."

Mrs. Cardenas and Braves' students would like to thank Nori Guerrero (Sales and Marketing Manager) from Orbit Event Rentals, based in Santa Fe Springs, for donating gel lights to create a comfortable ambiance for the dance.
