Congratulations to our SRLA runners who finished their 2nd race on their way to the LA Marathon. They participated in the La Puente 6.2 mile run on Sunday. Students on the SRLA team will be running several miles each week and participating in 1 race each month as they continue to train for the LA Marathon. It takes a village to get our student runners to cross the marathon finish line in Santa Monica. Thanks to all the staff members who came out to support our students – Ms. Chavez, Ms. Fontenot, Mr, Jauregui, Ms. Kiser, Ms. Lam, Ms. Lopez, Ms. Moyer, Ms. Rose, & Ms. Sanchez. Look for our runners to be wearing their race medals and T-shirts to school on Monday.
