The Los Nietos School District is devastated to learn about the death of a former Ada S. Nelson and Los Nietos Middle School student, Joanna Lopez, who had just completed her freshman year at Pioneer High School. We send our deepest condolences and prayers to her family as they grieve this loss. Pioneer High School will be hosting a fundraiser this Thursday June 15th, from 5:00-9:00 PM to help her parents pay for funeral expenses at Shakey's on Washington Blvd in Whittier.
